Many thanks to Joanna and Joseph Zaremba for organizing today's event at Rockwood Park. The map that Tom Overbaugh produced was outstanding as was his course design. This is an excellent venue for beginner events and sprint events.

I echo those sentiments.  One person, a mother who attended with her daughter, inquired about future events.

Kudos to Tom for mapping lovely Rockwood Park.  The little white course was a great intro for begnners. Not just trail junctions, but nice features like stone walls, boulders, a ruin, etc.  I took my 5 year old granddaughter around and she loved it.  Our 10 year old granddaughter also ran with her mother shadowing.  There were lots of young families at Rockwood for a kid's race and other fitness events.  I don't know how many stayed for the orienteering.  If they didn't, they missed out.
