Thank you for the Team Fundraisers

Topic created by Orienteeringmom on Sun Nov 14, 2010 at 3:40 pmI would like to give a great big thank you to Nancy Sharp for helping me get permission to use the Holiday Inn Express meeting room last weekend for two USA Team Fundraisers. I just found out how successful the Senior Team Wine and Cheese social was and I was totally impressed with the results from such little work on my part for the team. The team raised $463 which is awesome I think. It helped that Vlad G. made the donation of paying for all of the supplies for the fundraiser or it would have been half as much for the team. I also want to thank all of the club members that supported both of the team fundraisers last weekend. I reported earlier that the Junior team raised $150 with their game night so overall we raised about $600 total for the teams which I think is great. Thank you to everyone that helped to make these events happen and so successful! Once again DVOA shows their true colors as great supporters of our teams and sport.
