QOC is helping to facilitate an orienteering coach training course taught by Bob Turbyfill and organized by Bill Ferguson (HVO). This will take place next weekend, Feb. 13-15, at Little Bennett Regional Park, and is open to any OUSA member. The cost to participants will be $150, which includes training materials plus organizational expenses.

Would it be in DVOA's best interest to send (and pay for) the first one or two people, who would then be expected to give a similar class for the rest of us?

I think this is part of the official certification program, in which case anyone who wants it would have to actually go to the training (since only a level 2 or 3 coach can train others.)
