Mid Atlantic Champs - preregistration required

Topic created by robw on Sat Nov 7, 2015 at 7:46 pmAccording to the QOC website, preregistration is required for the event next Sunday at Rosaryville State Park in Maryland. Apparently the park will not allow money to be collected at the event. Registration closes Friday at midnight. So far the only persons who have registered are from QOC. We need a lot of people to get down to Maryland on the 15th in order that DVOA can reclaim regional supremacy. Ther is also a park entrance fee of $5 per non-Maryland vehicle, so carpooling is a good idea.

Reply by Len on Tue Nov 10, 2015 at 11:50 amThanks for the info.QOC has also posted event rules...http://qoc.us.orienteering.org/sites/default/files/Mid_Atlantics_Rules_2015.pdfLast year we discussed the need for a relay organizer as our relay teams are not planned and usually made at the last minute.We could have a better showing if the teams were planned with the overall relay scoring in mind.... of coures, there is only 3 days left to register and 5 days till the meet.
