Splitalizer Plugin

If not, I suppose we should update http://www.dvoa.org/gadget/ to point to SplitsBrowser, like http://www.dvoa.org/cgi/gadget/reitti.cgi does.If you still want to use Splitalizer, you can use Firefox or Internet Explorer (shudder).Hope this helps! Nothing we can do about Chrome no longer supporting Java!!-Hugh

I didnt see any of our races or were you just pointing us there to get an idea of its offerings?Also - will we be seeing RG maps for Fair hill and Nodle? I'm really missing looking at my routes :)

I think Nolde is a little too complicated to get into Routegadget with the way it was set up with forking. I forgot about Fair Hill.. Hunter and I compared routes using something called OGPS. Tom?
What about Springton? Too late? Mark?

Let me know if that's not working for you? Someone will have to authorize the switch to SplitsBrowser on the RouteGadget page (I vote for me: make it so!), and then Vadim (or whomever's the 'Webmaster' these days?) will have to modify the code to get SplitsBrowser instead of SplitAlyzer on the "RouteGadget" page.Don't forget to Follow MyDVOA on Twitter for the fastest notice of RouteGadget postings!
A reminder/request for all of you course setters: try to remember to please send me Condes WCD and OCAD OCD files whenever you are done with your event (probably once you've printed), even if it's a week early. I will not peek, I promise. ;) It really helps get RG posted more quickly, and remain topical.Nolde: I only recently got results for RG, but I wasn't harassing Vadim too much, either, as I knew he had an incredibly busy summer. I will spend 1 hour trying some time in the next week. It's complicated. If I can do it in an hour, you'll be in luck. :)Fair Hill: never heard back from Tom. I still need the Condes & OCAD files.Springton: ditto with Mark.If someone else wants to play RouteGadget Wizard for a while (2016?), or be my backup, just let me know and we'll do some training, maybe at the winter meeting. 70% of the time it's pretty easy. 10% of the time it's pretty easy, but requires a bit of elbow grease. 10% of the time it's hard. 10% of the time it's just not possible (or at least worth the heroic efforts to make it possible). -

Reply by edscott on Thu Sep 24, 2015 at 9:17 amIt is good to get as many of our events on Route Gadget as possible. Not just so we can see our mistakes and triumphs, but as a reference for future course setters to see the course history of the map and avoid duplicating recent courses.

I can give you access to my personal RouteGadget server, documentation, and some old files, and we can work through RG Boot Camp.No experience necessary, but general PC (Windows) skills (and hardware) required.
