For those lucky DVOA attendees to this years S6D and WOC a warning to those driving. Alison has warned me that the A9 road which extends from Perth to Inverness has AVERAGE SPEED CAMERAS along various points on the road. To give an idea of the exctent if you speeded the whole way and got caught on them all you would have a high fine and would accumulate enough points to lose your license on that one trip! So while on a USA license you will not get points you will still be liable for the cost of the speeding tickets from the rental company. Having said that during the summer tbs during the daytime there can be a ton of traffic and no danger of getting to the speed limit never mind exceeding it. Anyway be careful and looking forward to seeing fellow DVOA'ers there.
