Thanks, Hugh, for being the reason I didn't get much done the last couple of days. Just finished reading "Night River" and definitely enjoyed it. Far more gripping than a couple of Kindle best-sellers that I've bought, and given up on. All the Philly area references made it fun to follow, and it was really easy to identify with the orienteering chapter.

Good work! Any plans for a sequel?

    Dave:

Thanks so much for your comments about NIGHT RIVER.  I always knew you were perceptive and a great judge of literature.  Dave Morgan: thank you for your comments yesterday (and for your 5 star review on Amazon) - I should have just stayed at registration and talked to you instead of orienteering in my shorts.  Thanks to all of you who nominated NIGHT RIVER some months ago.  I assume you've all been rewarded with an e-mail from Amazon alerting you to your free e-copy of the book. For those of you who did not nominate it, want to pre-order it, or for those of you who want to hold a real book in your hand, it should be available on Amazon on June 23rd in e-book and paperback format.  Here's the link:

Now to go heal from yesterday . . . .
