Springton Manor Thanks

Topic created by ragosta on Sun Jun 1, 2014 at 11:04 pmThe weather gods blessed us all today - it was a beautiful day at Springton Manor for orienteering!By all accounts from the many smiling and satisfied orienteers finishing their courses, Wyatt set some skillful, challenging, perfect courses (with a little help from yours truely) for us all to experience and enjoy. Many thanks to all that volunteered and helped to create a successful event, my first as ED.At the risk of missing someone's name, thanks to Mary Frank, Linda A., and Carl Marcus on registration; John Gillette, Erik Eddy, and Kathy U. on e-punch; Dave Morgan, Steve Ohrwaschel, and Tommy at the start; and Dave U., Diane Reider, Dan B., Scott T., and others for control pickup. Thanks also to Mary, John, and Steve for working with the Scout(s) we had today, and those that were first time orienteers. Thanks to John Gillette and the Frank family and friends for an early arrival and help with setup, and a very special thanks to the Riley and Agosta families for giving up their husbands and dad's for some much needed time (enjoyable as it was) in pulling together this event.
