OK, it's Snowy outside, a MAJOR coastal Storm is in South Carolina, and About to dump MORE snow on DVOA areas/maps from Maryland/Delmarva to NJ and PA.  Sounds like this weekends Road trips are posponed, so its Kick Off! time To ask for More ad Hoc volunteers via the     DVOA      E BOARD

Ref June 8th  Quail Hill O meet  REQUEST FOR One or More Course setters (open spot)

    History

Since about 1999 Quail Hill Camp map has been used (at least 3 Different Maps)
1st Primitive CAD Map cobbled together by me and Theo Zaharia (boy did that map look primitive by USOf standards, but it got the whole Casbah started)
2nd the Modern Russian Vladimer Zerdiv map (1st CAD modern map, 2006)
3rd/4th gen map (2008-11 period, heavily edited map by Bob Burg, or Rycharski, mostily adding updates and rootstocks and veg changes over the years
2013 FYI New this year, Lasar "tag" youth business lease is - toast, we gain back the 10% of the west part map we were traditionally barred from running in.

Proposal. I am again looking for a New Quail Course SETTER, one living nearby or reasonable distance from this Manalapan NJ area camp topo map.
Please consider and I have all my back up ... past maps/courses for reference
Bonus exposure: average 150 plus Scouts annually, plus 50-100 HVO or DVOA runners.  Your courses will be appreciated and tested by many.

Double Bonus, I will assist the Courses setter, and I myself reserve the right to Yellow course control sharing with the 13th ... special Trivia Hike and general knowledge Quail Hill FUN  quiz, informally "Now Known" - TA DA! as "The Caroline Ringo Orienteering special Award" course for Youths. The Aim of the new "Ringo 13" yellow course is to have a "sprint format" for youths (parents welcome too) after there whatever color DVOA  hike.  This will be a walk on Fun course with a mix of hard and easy 13 related questions, somehow based or related to the number 13 (example question - Commander James Lovell commanded "What" Apollo Moon mission?  :-)  or What 'next' house number was ... After Sirius Black's - invisible secret unplottable Harry Potter house number in London?  etc ) all participants need is a index scratch pad/paper and a pencil stub. The winners (most right and shortest time on course breaks 13 right answer ties) will get a special team prize.

So lets get Out There ... to Volunteer, get set, get out of the armchairs, Spring is less than 4 weeks away by my calculations.  No Previous CS experience needed, only ...will and energy to learn course setting (CS) and do it right and Funily.

If you have any unusual 13 trivia that is not too obscure, pease email me offline,  ...   or email it TO ... Freddie at Friday the 13th Street, corner of Brimstone & Perditions Malstrom, NJ  00000
So, I again ask, How can I help you (to get up and volunteer asap)? Questions?

I can't Wait for the 13th Doctor WHO next BBC episode (Spoiler),  Signed Bob Rycharski
