Topic created by ErikEddy on Fri May 31, 2013 at 10:19 amI saw the schedule changed....Is there a beginner's seminar this Sunday? If so, what are the details? If not, are start times 10-1 ?

Reply by edscott on Fri May 31, 2013 at 3:27 pmI assume Norristown is being held at normal hours. I've not heard otherwise. Special programs are supposed to be listed here (http://www.dvoa.org/learn/educ/es_activity.php) by those doing the programs.

Reply by furlong47 on Fri May 31, 2013 at 11:16 pmThe schedule page originally said it was a beginners' event and that the regular starts would begin at Noon. That part is now gone.

Folks are correct that the schedule originally had different start times but we (Mary and I) changed it to our normal start window (10 AM to 1 PM). This event is on the Park's scheduled events for the year so a description appears in the park literature. Hard to predict if we'll have more beginners.

Reply by edscott on Sun Jun 2, 2013 at 2:24 pmMy two creek crossings were a welcome break for hot sweaty feet. Considering the constraints put on the course setter regarding cultivated fields and some areas of really impossible vegetation, the Brown course was great.

Reply by DaveDarrah on Sun Jun 2, 2013 at 5:07 pmI got to see a LOT of the park, including several not unwelcome stream crossings. Thanks for a great Red course! A great way to spend a Sunday morning.

Reply by rpboehme on Sun Jun 2, 2013 at 6:19 pmThanks for a fun green course, especially when I was making better time (it seemed) walking through the creek than bumbling through the vegetation. In addition to a tick check, do we need leech checks? ;-)
