The TICKS have completed their winter hibernation and are out in force! Wear light colored clothes and apply your favorite anti-tick balm.
There is a scenic no-cliimb streamered 500 meter walk from Registration to Start. -

Reply by rpboehme on Sun Apr 21, 2013 at 7:28 pmI hope it is proper to post Thank you's here. The venue was beautiful, with early Spring springing and peepers peeping (sorry, bad puns) and some very nice field, forest and creekside scenery to behold when we were not too distracted with our maps. :-)
Thanks to the organizers, the course setter and all of the helpful enouraging volunteers. From my own little perspective, the final downhill to the finish was refreshingly scenic (what a view!) and air conditioned!
A most fine event - thank you again.

Reply by anniemac on Mon Apr 22, 2013 at 12:38 pmWhat a well-organized, well-attended event on a perfect spring day! Thank you to all who helped put on Crow's Nest. It was fun to walk a bit to the start, and then the combination of the woods and the meadows really made you switch gears. I am starting to realize that I love anything French Creek. Well done to all!
