I am working on a presentation that we can use at expos and indoor (outdoor??) events in the future. 
An example is we did a lunchtime scout leader college last year and our DVOA blade indoors was a big attraction to get people to our table.  This year we would like to project slides on the wall behind us.  THe upcoming Endurance Expo is another opportunity.

The presentation I am currently working on is based in Powerpoint and will have videos, photos, maps/courses and general information about the club, OUSA, IOF and etc.   I am looking for good photos that show both the competition and recreational aspects of our sport. i.e. photos of the Hickory Run training weekend. Looking for quotes about why you orienteer or captions/sayings with photos. (I know some of this has already been requested for the new website). Any other information you may have that could be used in a public setting. 

Please let me know if you have any photos/information you are willing to share.   I do not know what my current limit is on downloading specific file sizes so it may be better to get a disk or jump drive with any data you have that can be shared unless the zipped file size is small. I will gladly return the disk or jump drive to you once copied. 

I have already started a preliminary layout and hope to build a series of these using a common foundation that we can supply to club members who are teaching or marketing the sport.   Each presentation will be built based on the time alloted and the information needed.  An example of this is that I want to build the night-school program (3 nights) into a presentation that can be used when projection equipment is available.  This will be an ongoing project so contributions will always be welcome.

We hope to have a development meeting upcoming in February and will show the basic status there and would like to have enough data together to use for the Endurance Expo 2/23-2/24.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.  Files can be sent to the DVOA address.

That link goes right to orienteering categorized by year. Click a year and get a list of albums.

When viewing a photo you want - above the photo on top left, click "Actions" and select "View all sizes". There are numerous options so you can choose something the right size to download. Unless you have some kind of really unorthodox internet setup, there shouldn't be a problem with the size of any of these files on an individual basis.

Ditto for my photos on Flickr. I am Kathyu on flickr. I have sets for big events and a set that is just orienteering. They aren't as good as Julie's but you are welcome to anything. I do not have any training weekend shots.
