    Hi All,

Back in 05/06, when I was trying to get the older son interested in Orienteering, we were members and there was a publication called "News from the Briar Patch" that the DVOA put out.  It was great reading and encouraged us to make the occaisional trip to events.

We rejoined this past summer and it just occurred to me that we had not received one?  Is it still published?  If not, no worries.  If it is still published, how can we go about getting copies?

Thanks and looking forward to hitting the maps and courses again in March,

    Rich

    Hi Rich,

Yes, it is still published (although unfortunately there was a long hiatus last fall). The next issue is slated to come out soon, sometime in March.

From rumors I hear it is shaping up to be a fantastic (!) issue, and I am really looking forward to getting my hands on my copy. All current members will be getting their Briar Patch at the address listed on their most recent membership form/renewal.

I would double-check that your address (listed in your member's login on this site) is correct and membership is active, and you should be all set for the next Briar Patch!

Many thanks for all the hard work that goes into publishing one of these - ours came this past week.
