MT PENN

Topic created by markwalsh on Mon Nov 26, 2012 at 11:37 amJust a tad chilly yesterday but still a fine day to be in the woods.
Thanks to the hardy souls who manned/planned the event and weren't as lucky as the runners... who if they kept moving .....could stay pretty warm.
Not that I know a whole lot about the sport .... but seemed like a tough course with some nasty advanced placements. After looking at route gadget this morning seemed like a lot of the courses were challenaging
I hope particpants had as much fun as I did moving around the map.
Sorry for keeping u folks there a little later then u probably planned .....I guess the legs aren't what they used to be.

I look forward to course designing again soon. If anyone has course critics please email me:

Reply by kathyu on Tue Nov 27, 2012 at 8:29 amEddy, you did a great job on this event. Thanks to you and all your team. I was concerned that dropping way down to yellow wouldn't be challenging enough, but the yellow was very physical, and offered some navigating choices I didn't expect. Thanks again.
