Great end to season @ Brandywine

Topic created by o-maps on Mon Dec 12, 2011 at 1:29 pmWhat a great way to end another successfull DVOA season! The weather was the best I've ever seen at Brandywine this time of year, by a mile, which brought what had to be a record turnout for this map: nearly 200 orienteers on 150 maps.First of all, huge kudo's and thanks to Tom O for doing all the work related to this event. He set excellent challenging courses that I heard complimented over and over. My job as MD was a breeze given the amount of preparation from Tom.Of course, one needs more than a course setter to pull this off. Thanks to Mary for securing the proper permits and permissions as well as access to warm restrooms at the JCC. Registration went without a hitch thanks to Mary, Steve, Dave and Dan. John and Ralph got everyone off at the start, while Jim, Kathy, Eugene and Sandy manned the computer and dealt with the little glitches expertly! Thanks to Fred for printing all the courses and finally the control pick-up crew of Trazy, Bob, Clem, Mike, Ralph and Eric allowed us to drive away from the park before 4:30!!!!Thanks everyone for a great season!PS: I hope I didn't forget to thank someone. I f I did, I sincerely apologize.PPS: Results and splits are up at the following links. Also, please take a moment to follow the Route Gadget link below to draw your route as well as watch others'. If you ahve any trouble with the RG application, post here and someone will help you :)
