While it was so nice to have such spectacular weather at Harmony Hill Sunday, what really made it a wonderful day were all the members that came out to participate and those that helped prior and on the day of the event.

Bob Agosta is such a pleasure to deal with as Event Director. He kept me in line the last few weeks and had my back when I missed things. Bob stayed calm and focused dealing with inputting all the ROTC names in the morning as well as with the mis-programmed control at the finish. And then Lena steps in and fixed the messed up data entries. Just wonderful.

Eric Weyman and Bob Agosta helped me hang all the controls Saturday. It was a long day for the three of us.  They also both made helpful suggestions about my map. Since this was my first “from scratch” large scale map, their input is super helpful.

Glen Lewis, Sam Kolins, Brennon Hall, Eric Weyman and Rebecca Lamont with Nick Hurff of Team Grit helped to get the controls all picked up before the sun set and the temperature dropped. You guys were like the calvary arriving just in time. Thank you!

Rich Phifer, the East Bradford Township Park and Lands manager, made putting on this event so easy. Thanks again. I hope the new map he has of his park gets to grace his office wall. OK, maybe a bathroom wall somewhere.

And last but not least, thanks to James Mora from The Chester County Weekly Association, Paradise Farm Camp, for allowing us on their Hogs Hollow loop. Having that extra loop made the map big enough run this as a three hour event, which I thought very important. Maybe we’ll see more of Paradise Farm in the future.
