    Read "from Here to There", Michael Bond, and "Wayfinding, Science & Mystery of how Humans Navigate the World", M.R. O'Conner. And of course there is the McMaster University study of a few years back, that some of us took part in.

    This society is so doomed.

    The final chapter of The Four Points of the Compass (see book report above) is called Blue Dot and quotes some of the same studies.  
    OMG just got an AI popup offering to rewrite the above.  
    Habitual use of AI will negatively impact writing ability.
