Reply by Steve on Sat Aug 10, 2024 at 8:12 amYes, several members do not like the outdoors/ rugged feeling of a cabin and would prefer a rel bed with accessible restrooms.If you do not take the meal deal, then you are must bring your own lunch both days. The park consession stand is at Sand Spring Lake, and you will be late to your afternoon session if you try to drive down and buy something. (I am not even sure it is open this late in the year)

Reply by camperpat on Tue Aug 13, 2024 at 7:37 amBob and i have a campsite and we just drive to camp Daddy allen every day. 10 minute drive. Others have taken a hotel room nearby. Its a bit longer drive. but u will be at the camp all day especially if you take the meal plan, then u can eat and talk with other in your group etc
