Topic created by Steve on Tue Jul 23, 2024 at 6:47 amAnother week, another sprint course. This map has not been used for quite some time, and it showed. Thank you to Kathy Urban, who reaquainted us with the park office and set up the permissions. Thank you to Fred Kruesi who did some minor map changes to try to make the map usable. I should have told him to remove the trails near start also, but that was my fault.Day of event went very smoothly where I was ready to go an hour early. Janet Porter made a rare appearance and handed out maps at the start. The computer even coopererated through the first sprint. Thanks to Sam Kolins and David Radspinner for finding my input errors during the second sprint, and cleaning up the evet for posting afterwards.The fun part about Saturday evening courses is that we go out for dinner and drinks afterwards. Of the roughly twenty people that orienteered, 11 came to dinner. Good friends are precious.
