Registration is open.  White is about 3 km, the Long White is 8 km.

It is wonderful that the Township asked us to host an event on this date prior to their Festival.  This is a great Family event.

    Some confusion:

There is a white course for beginners which is about 1.6km  75m climb with 9 controls

There is also a choice of 2 trail runs/walks:

Trail Run 1 -SHORT which is about 2.2km as the crow flies but ~3.8km and ~125m of climb using the trails with 7 controls

Trail Run 2 -LONG  which is 5.2km as the crow flies but ~8.2km and ~260m of climb using the trails with 11 controls.

All controls for this event are on or very near trails so the control level of difficulty is "1" on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most difficult placements.   Although it says Trail "Run" 1 & 2 both courses can be done walking.

Registration will be updated Wednesday morning to reflect the above.

Careful folks - as of 5:30 pm on Friday the 17th, it appears that registration closed about 5.5 hrs too early.

I did reach out to Mary via the form to see if I coudl still register.  Fingers crossed.

    TTFN,

    Rich
