Topic created by Orienteer7 on Fri Oct 6, 2023 at 7:58 amCongratulations to all the DVOA members who have been working hard to win the successful bid for the 2024 OUSA National Championships. The event will be held October 11th through the 13th on "New orienteering maps" near Scranton, PA. For club members who have never attended a national this a great opportunity to attend an event even if for one of the days and see the top competitors from North America and even some from overseas. Also remember that the regular deadline for the "Queen of the Hills" national event is now Sunday 10/8/23. Late registration with higher daily fees remains open until 10/22/23. This event is much closer for many club members and again you can participate either day or both but don't delay registering. If you don't want to particpate in the event but want to volunteer to help contact Angelica Riley, Event Director at rileyangelica@gmail.com. It is a great way to get to know other club members and to see what is involved with hosting a national event.
