For all of you late night and early morning viewers of the e-board.....latest report from Quail Hill's Set-Up today....

Good news for the "mudders" among us....last night's light rains and tonight's slightly longer light rains will guarantee that any seasonal marshes and streams are now definitely seasonal marshes and streams, soggy but crossable if that concerns you, plenty of fun if you simply want to spash through them. You shouldn't lose any shoes and the more circumspectful souls can keep their feet dry enough.  Plus the event hours promise to be sunny in the mid to high 40's.  What more could you ask of a December day? similar to last Sunday at Batsto.

The best news is that with leaves off, and brambles receding, this is an ideal time to run Quail Hill in its best navigational conditions. All courses promise some of the nicest areas throughout your courses.

Come join in and please consider lending a hand for an hour or more, pre or post course.  Our core staff would really appreciate getting out on a course themselves.

FYI - Parking will be (as last May) to your right just before you drive through the gate into the camp.  Official Check-In (including fingersticks) is just uphill from Parking in the small grove of white pines, and with Starts using the northern section of the large field, everyone's asked to walk to our Pavilion Home and nearby Start, south of the initial course starts.  The area will be conveniently streamered to make the choice easy to follow.

    See you in the woods.
