I would like to say a big thank you for the 30+ brave souls who showed up at Ft. Washington for enjoyable winter weather, orienteering, and some very open woods. I hope all of you had a good time.

My biggest thank you to all the volunteers who helped me in the morning. Controls setup - Greg Balter; Registration - John Ort, Karl Ahlswede; E-Punch - Sandy Fillebrown and Sandy Ahlswede; Controls pickup - Greg Balter, SSergei Fedorov, Petr Hartman, John Ort, Ron Bortz.

Thanks Vadim - it was loads of fun, even with cold toes (kept me moving fast)!  I especially appreciated the map scale; large enough that I never needed my reading glasses.  The President's cup is always a great way to kick off a new year of Orienteering and boost anticipation for the new schedule of events.
