This Sunday's event will run out of the South Appleton Road lot and will use terrain on the east side of the Big Elk Creek an area not often used.  Don't forget that Daylight Savings Time ends at 2am on Sunday morning.  This loss of an hour of daylight means control pick will commence at 2:30 because the park closes at sunset.  Plan your arrival and course selection with this in mind.

Will any courses be crossing the creek?

Green, Red and Blue courses cross the Big Elk Creek at bridges - forced crossing point.

If this wasn't the windiest O meet I've done, it must be close. My thanks to the organizers and helpers who managed to stay anchored while we runners took refuge in the woods. Enjoyed the Brown course -- there were some briars (in evidence as I look at my wrist while I type) but I have to admit it was very well set.

Well done on a nice Green course.  Not too many briars and lots of good open woods or fields!

Agree it was like being in a wind tunnel. And we could look down the fencerow and see where the leaves were hardly moving.  I really didn't notice any wind on most of the course, but at the registration area it was brutal most of the day.  The event workers really need to be recognized for their perserverance.

Great event!  The weather was perfect once I got into the course.  That wind was impressive too...
