Is anyone familiar with the woods here? Our delema is travel time. We can go to Silas Condict and save an hour in each direction or head to Pine Grove. If the woods are white and open, this would be a tipping point.

It's been a while since I was there last, but I seem to recall PGF having a lot of mountain laurel...

(Full disclosure:  I'm the ED for Silas Condict.  Laughing )

There is a good bit of mountain laurel at Pine Grove but there is also some beautiful open woods.  So it somewhat depends on what the course setter chooses to do.

Went with the closer option today, Silas Condict, and it was a fun day. I didnt get to tell anyone there, but the green course was very nice. No controls we trying to hide and the features were distinct. I actually spent time on the longer legs navagating just using the large features. Next time I'm there, I want to work on navagating around the rocky areas :)
It was a real change coming off the Canadian terrain from last week.
