They seemed well organized, challenging, and everyone including the non-team trial-ers had a great time. They definitely upheld the honor of DVOA! Here are a few (!) snapshots of the event, first at the Middle finish and also during the sprint.

Could one of you Attackpointers post the link over there too? -

Thank you. I'll post the link on AP.
Without the dedicated volunteers it would not be possible to run this event successfully. We did it with very little amount of helpers and it was challenging at some times.
My big big thank you goes to Kathy and Dave Urban and Dan Barker. These were the people who spent this past weekend helping at a very important for the US orienteering team event - the Team Trials. They showed their dedication to the sport of orienteering and our small community. They didn't run any courses, just worked at the start and finish! And believe me, staying still for longer than few seconds was very tough because of tons of bugs waiting for you in the woods. At least the weather was cooperating with us and it was sunny, but windy.
One more time, thank you very much for your time and energy!
It's a great example what the real volunteers are all about. They are tough. You don't have to beg for help, they just offer their time and help.
