Stream Crossing tomorrow

Topic created by Orienteeringmom on Sat Jun 12, 2010 at 1:22 pmSo there is 40% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, 60% tonight and tomorrow and the forecast states that there is especially a chance for them in the AM tomorrow. Now if we have strong storms and heavy downpours what does that do to the courses for tomorrow? It is a long drive to Hibernia for us and before doing it I would like to know how the stream crossing are going to be handled.

Reply by Vadim on Sat Jun 12, 2010 at 7:50 pmLooks like nothing to worry about. My guess Green/Red runners are capable to cross stream! We are adults and can make decisions based on situation.

Reply by Orienteeringmom on Sun Jun 13, 2010 at 4:31 pmSorry, Dawn and Scott. I had really hope that Denny would be able to come but he had to work on the brakes on his work van before they locked up on him and I didn't want to come by myself. We get so little time together these days that I really wanted to be here with him even if I wasn't working on the brakes with him.
Hope the meet went well and that most people got done before the storms started.
We will be at the picnic next weekend so hopefully we will get to see you guys then.
