    Browsing www.BatstoVillage.org and saw that they will have carriage rides on the same Sunday as orienteering, so you might want to do your run and then go for a carriage ride.  They used to have holiday tours of the mansion, but perhaps they were a victim of covid. In any case, the Village is a wonderful place for a walk.

    i love the mansion there.  It is usually decorated as it has period furnature in it and heat.  I hope its open ,  they depend on volunteers for the tour.   keeping fingers crossed !

    And check out the course stats on the schedule page, while noticing that registration for Batsto is nearing deadline. For 20 months the course maps have been itching to get out and run through the woods.  So please come lend them a hand and enjoy this unique DVOA terrain.  And please consider joining us early to help our core staff before going out on your course....or to come run a course and then help out.  Many hands make light work.  See you in the woods on Sunday.
