Tyler registration is up on EventReg

I will post course notes in a couple of days. For now, some quick points:

    - registration will close at 11pm the Friday before the event, or earlier if we reach 250 participants. There will be no late registration, and no day of the event registration at all, no exceptions.

    - early starts 9:30-10:30 for people at higher risk, and 10:30-1:30 starts for everyone else. For normal starts, you will need to pick a one-hour window when you register (10:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30, or 12:30-1:30). This is to make sure that we spread people out a bit (Tyler can get crowded!). If one of these categories fills up before the others, I'll close that category early.

    - the Orange course will have a couple more physical legs, with a lot of climb. If that's not something you enjoy, I'd say pick Brown instead, you will have more fun. You are never far from a trail at Tyler, so advanced courses won't be too hard.

Just a heads up everyone, we do have 7 Girl Scout Troops planning on registering which will eat up some of our allowed participants.  Please don't wait until the last minute to register.

Any chance you can post a registrant list, so we can see if (time) slots are filling up?

I'll update the list in the evening. Right now we have 6 registrations for the early (high risk) time, 13 for 10:30-11:30, and 3 each for 11:30-12:30 and 12:30-1:30. So still plenty of spots, but the 10:30-11:30 is popular.

Ron -- the registrant list is here. I thought I'd update it with everyone's start times, but that turned out to be too much manual labor :-D

As of today, the numbers are as follows:
    High risk 9:30-10:30 - 9 starts,
    10:30-11:30 - 24 starts,
    11:30-12:30 - 4  starts,
    12:30-1:30 - 5 starts

If anyone wants updated info, I can update daily.

if/when a time slot hits 50 starts, I'll close it.

A heads-up: Orange, Red, Blue and Pink will have one very short but very steep uphill leg that has no purpose whatsoever other than to make you suffer. There will be bragging rights attached to this particular split. If you are cool, you will want to do this! Be super-fast and destroy your friends (and enemies).

The Orange will have an advantage because they'll get the uphill super early in the course. The other courses will get to it about halfway through.

This uphill suffer fest sounds more like a Sam thing than yours. We all thought you were nice.

Ha! This statement is verifiably untrue. Everyone knows Sam is the nice one.

Oh oh -- in addition to the Hill of Doom, there will also be lots of mud! Yeah! You are very welcome.
