I'm looking for someone who is coming to Batsto and who lives reasonably close to the Franks to take all the fingersticks (2 reasonably small and very light plastic cases) to Mark once all the fingersticks are accounted for. Mark needs all the fingersticks DVOA has for MASOC, and then to organize packets for the scouts as soon as possible.

And second, while our primary crew is ready to go, we could use extra hands and welcoming volunteers.  So if you know you're coming to Batsto (to run a great course in amazingly open terrain), please help us for an hour or so, even let me know you'll help out when you get there.  bburg at comcast dot net.

I?ll be driving up 206 to Bordentown after Batsto, not sure where the Franks are, but if it?s on my way, or reasonably close I can. Brad Colbeck

Kathy, if you can get the fingersticks to Mark on Monday, greatl

Brad, while I thank you for volunteering, the Franks live well into PA, and Bordentown is nowhere near their home.
    Thank you.

Anyone else who lives within 20 minutes of Mark and Mary???

    Bob:

You must not have received my email a few days ago. I have decided not to go to West Point next weekend to prepare for the S-MASOC31 event the following weekend.  I will therefore be coming to Batsto on Saturday bringing both DVOA tents and a DVOA blade and will stay to take the epunches and whatever equipment is not moving on to another event (and that will fit in my car).  I should be there by 9am.

    So great to hear, Mark.
Your presence and items will be so appreciated.  And I guarantee you will love the wide open Batsto terrain.

    Latest Update from Batsto

Vegetation has flourished in the warm dry sunny days this Spring, but the Batsto terrain and sandy soil will definitely welcome (and easily absorb) tonight's soaking rain.  The groundcover is just shy of budding, so after overnight rain we might see just a few more budding leaves opening up while running our courses tomorrow. But just a little......

This should prove to be a wonderful day of orienteering in warm spring temperatures, with rain disappearing just as Starts begin.  So please come out to experience the very best of what Pineland terrain can ever offer.

I've definitely designed courses to reward FUN, rather than technical prowess.  Lots of runnable route choices that leaves the subtle terrain to challenge your technical prowess.  Trust your map reading and navigation  You'll have a ball!!!

And besides, treats for the youngest among us.....including ourselves.  Cool
and watch for easter soap bubbles.....
