Topic created by Orienteer7 on Mon Apr 8, 2019 at 7:43 pmIt was a great day to be at Warwick yesterday. The weather was a bit on the warm side but not many complaints!!! Wanted to thank Rob Frank for pre-event work in the woods hanging streamers and checking boulder sizes. Fred Kruesi for help with map printing. The support of Warwick County park rangers for help with strategically dropping water on Saturday for it to be placed in the woods and parking on Sunday. Dave Morgan, Pat Burton, Diane Reider and Donna Zimmer for help with registration. John Gillette and Mary Frank(event director) for epunch. Sam Kolins for two outstanding intermediate training programs which attraced more than 45 individuals. Steve Ohrwaschel and Rob Frank for manning the start and general instructions for some beginners. Bob Gross for help with registration and beginner instruction. Lena Kushleyeva for help with beginners at registration. Rob Frank and Bob Burton with parking of cars in the field once we filled the parking lots!!! Control pickup was made extremely easy with the crew of Kathy Moss, Julie Keim, Lena Kushleyeva, Kim McCane, Rich Boehme, Fred Reed, Sam Kolins and Eric Weyman. Hope you all enjoyed a partially updated map with many more rootstocks and a few new boulders along with many more subtle changes.
