Copied from USOFClubnet in case anyone here doesn't get those emails. This was written by Chris Cassone, longtime orienteer and formerly of HVO.
After years of looking, I finally found a museum that "gets" our sport - and its historical significance. An intro email about the prototypes I possessed was all it took. I actually believe we might have found the future OUSA museum home, but that's another convo.

I reached out to all the usual suspects and they all rose to the occasion. Sandy produced a beautiful map because the museum is all in and willing to run events out of it. And we have scouts coming for a potentially huge WOD event May 15.

The exhibit opens this Saturday, April 6 and runs until September 22. If anybody in the Phila area (DVOA leaders esp.) want to mingle at the opening Friday evening, email me at ccassone@gmail.com. It's a members only reception but I can get a few in I'm sure.

I also believe Carina Elgin, Bjorn's daughter, will be there.

Thanks to all of you oldsters whom I called with crazy questions.

Now, squint your eyes and imagine a room dedicated to US O history.
