Reply by Sandy on Mon Sep 18, 2017 at 9:00 pmAnd are there special fees? And do we need to pre-register?

Reply by furlong47 on Mon Sep 18, 2017 at 9:46 pmWe are still waiting on final confirmation of our permit from the park, hopefully in the next day or two. Then I will post additional info and open for pre-registration. (Payment not due until event day.)The Susquehanna Stumble is a Billygoat-inspired event with a couple of twists. The competitors run between numbered windows in sequential order, but within each window there are several controls which can be visited in ANY order. Typically the Short Stumble is in the range of ~8-10 km and Long is ~14-16 km.Short is $15, Long is $22 with pre-registration, add $5 to register on site on event day ($20/$27). Mass start 11 AM. White, Yellow, Orange recreational courses available in normal window of 10 AM - 1 PM. SVO fees of $5/member, $10/non-member. (Member = of any orienteering club.)

Reply by furlong47 on Sun Sep 24, 2017 at 1:31 pmA few registrations have come rolling in, but I'm sure plenty more of you want a chance at the coveted Stumble towelWe could also use a few more DVOA volunteers to help round out our little SVO crew. I need help at registration and someone to keep an eye on recreational starts. Especially if you are planning to run a recreational course, you could be very helpful while the Stumblers are off in the woods all at once. The biggest need is probably control pickup. I did list e-punch on the volunteer sign-up, although I plan to run that myself most of the day. It would be nice to know who else with the knowledge is around for backup purposes. (I do already know of one.) The volunteer link is up on the schedule page or you can email me at the same address as pre-registration if you want to help out.

Reply by kathyu on Mon Sep 25, 2017 at 9:53 amI'll want to run a rec course and Dave probably will too, and he generally likes to help pick up controls. I'm on the volunteer list, but let me know where you need me.Kathyu
