We are closing in on the Hay Creek event.  We have a creekside pavillion reserved where you can relax and enjoy the beginning of the fall foliage.  Ed has some great courses for everyone to run.  A perfect combo!

I'll need some help running the event (My biggest worry) and have posted a volunteer list.  I have times listed for the positions, they are not cast in stone.  If you can only do part of the shift, I don't mind if you recruit someone else to stand in for the remainder of the shift.  If you can't commit until the day of the event or find yourself with some free time during the event, please stop by and ask if I need any help.  None of the jobs are hard(I'll help you get started) and it can be a fun way to meet/interact with your fellow club members.

On a selfish note, I'd like to get out and run in the afternoon when the action slows down.  So please rescue me.  :)

Kathy, I usually have the set up in the morning under control.  I can "front load" a lot of that work the night before the event.  Though if you get there early any help is appreciated.  Thanks for running the e-punch.  I will make sure that anyone who helps gets to run.

Erik, thanks, any help is appreciated.  I'm sure I can find a job for you.  :)

As mentioned earlier, I don't mind anyone jumping in to help, even if it's only for a half an hour.  If we are swamped at registration, just walk around to the other side of the table and help.  No one at start?  Go for it.  Most of us know what needs to be done.
