I set up a "slack page" for DVOA and would like test out it's functionality (the free version). You may see some invitations from me soon.
It is a communication tool (Website and Phone App) that could be both fun and very useful.
There will be private and public channels so the Exec committee, Board, Mapping Committe can discuss certain topics in private while any member can throw up a suggestion on the public boards and be seen by everyone. My hope is that this is easier and more transparent than email chains. I also hope that we can have a record of topics specific to some of our venues that ED's or CS's can view when they are preparing for events.
You can also directly message anybody who is using the site without needing to dig up an email.
