Route Gadget

Topic created by dmorgan on Wed Dec 16, 2015 at 5:01 pmI have a problem with Route Gadget-When I start the plot, there is a blue circle around the first control with a blue line from that first control to the start. After plotting my course (the blue circle and line still exist), I can't save it (window pop-up states I have not completed the course). What am I doing wrong or not doing! Any help would be appreciated.

Reply by furlong47 on Wed Dec 16, 2015 at 7:51 pmI'm getting something odd as well - when I attempt to load the GPS track it shows me going to the finish before going to control 25, which of course didn't happen. (on Green, Fort Washington) I tried adjusting the offset, but that's not the problem. I also don't see any erronious points in the GPS data file (meaning I did stop the watch right at finish.)

Reply by furlong47 on Wed Dec 16, 2015 at 8:24 pmAh, I think I figured it out - the time taken out from the road crossings makes my finish time earlier than the time I went to control 25. Using manual instead of splits based calibration fixed it.However, I did mess up the beginning of my track because I forgot we didn't actually start in the triangle

Reply by Steve on Wed Dec 16, 2015 at 9:49 pmwhen you plot your leg, make sure that you click in the center of the circle. The blue line will then jump to the next leg , leaving only your route in red
