National Event Fall 2016

    In 2016, the term "A-event" is no more!  It's officially "National Event".

    Please contact Erik if you are interested in Event Directing or Course Setting for an October/November National Event located at Mount Penn and Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation.  We need to set a date and format by the winter meeting.  HMSR map is going to be completed in January and the Mount Penn map is "complete" but will be spot checked in January.

    As a side note, I am course setting for the day before Easter in 2016 (March 26th) at Hay Creek and am looking for an Event Director.  The location has a few logistical challenges so the Event Director position is very key!  If the weather cooperates, and the trails are in good shape, this event will also have true Mountain Bike orienteering.

    Hey Erik,

    I checked my calendar, my bicycle club banquet is on 3/26/16, I would be too crunched for time at the end of the day to take on the ED for you.  Sorry I can't help out.

    I could promote the bike orienteering with my club, we do have some people who trail ride.  I could probably get something put in our monthly newsletter.
