Agreed, thank you. I thought the red course was set pretty well for the summer. I got a good workout in with some good route choice and barely any stratches. Now, I just need to study that dang superfence!
Also, a good venue to attract our friends from the south in their off season.. saw a few QOC members.

Reply by kathyu on Mon Jul 27, 2015 at 11:41 amThe yellow course was fun and interesting. I really have to work on pace counting, as I overshot one control and undershot another. Thank you to everyone who pitched in. A few folks just kind of drifted away when just 5 minutes of help would have been appreciated. Don't be shy next time.

Reply by anniemac on Mon Jul 27, 2015 at 3:06 pmThanks to all who contributed to making this event happen!Just out of curiosity, what happened to the water (or no water)? I don't want to create any more "drama" than you've already had to put up with, but I would like to know what happened.I am happy to donate at least 5 gallons of water for the next summer event if that would help.

Reply by edscott on Tue Jul 28, 2015 at 11:40 amI enjoyed the Brown course. Not real technical and didn't REQUIRE a lot of bushwhacking. Was getting hot and tired on my way to #6 and wished it was a little further down the valley, but once I studied the map I see it was a better spot to be for getting to #7 than where I originally thought I'd have put it.

Reply by edscott on Fri Aug 7, 2015 at 4:05 pmI believe it was because that box was not syncronized before it was put out. It registered which epunch was there but didn't know when. If I am wrong, I'm sure someone else will explain it better.

Reply by DaveUrban on Sun Aug 9, 2015 at 6:19 pmLooks like the box got synced - the splits seem to be in line.
