Adventure/Orienteering Camp

Topic created by BobGross on Thu Jun 18, 2015 at 1:21 pmI was talking to Gala Rokhinson after the Hay Creek event last weekend and she told me she was running an Adventure/Orienteering camp for ages 8 through 17 at Hickory Run, Camp Daddy Allen on July 5 -12.
She sent me the following information that I'll pass along if anyone is interested.
There will be an orienteering program for children from July 5th to July 12th at Daddy Allen at Hickory Run Park. We have 15 children now signed for the program. This is the event description and Gala also has a flyer that she can send to you by attachment.
Summer Camp by Princeton School Plus There will be a Summer Adventure Camp conducted by SchoolPlus Princeton. Dates: July 5-July 12 Who can participate: Children 8 y.o. -17 y.o. Where: Hickory Run State Park, Camp Daddy Allen, White Haven, PA 18661 What: This is an overnight camp. If your child would like to participate in an exciting sports camp involving orienteering, swimming, chess, art, and adventure. Information about the camp: Join us for fun and adventure in the middle of a beautiful forest, where we will live in cabins and exercise our mental and physical selves. Take part in exciting activities such as orienteering exercises, sports, swimming in a wonderful lake, and two one-day hiking trips. Daily activities will also include art, weaving, swimming, sports, chess, games and active and passive orienteering exercises. The dates: Sunday, July 5, 5pm - Sunday, July 12, 12pm. Hickory Run State Park, Camp Daddy Allen, White Haven, PA 18661. Car pool may be arranged. Food will be prepared by camp staff every day. We will have healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Campers will have fruits and vegetables every day in addition to the main dishes consisting of meat or fish.
