Springton Manor - "Wet & Wild" + Club Picnic & Meeting

Topic created by Orienteer7 on Fri Jun 5, 2015 at 7:55 amSee previous post about courses. Mass Start at 10:30. You don't have to participate in the mass start but can start afterwards up until 12:30. Controls will begin to be removed at 2-2:30 for this event. Plenty of time to do a course even if you start at 12:30. It is a great place to introduce friends(?) to orienteering.There are inside bathrooms available at registration and start is a quick 30 second walk from registration (if you leave registration in the right direction) and finish is about 30 seconds away from registration too. Parking is limited at registration and there may be a 750+ meter walk for those arriving once the lots have filled at the registration area.Please bring folding chairs if you plan to stay for the meeting and picnic. There is a limited number of tables and benchs inside the small hall we will be using but if you would like to be outside (weather to be the best as of now) you will need seating. Club members who have access to folding tables as a part of the equipment or just have a small folding table should try to bring it. We will have (3) extra 6 foot folding tables from our club equipment on hand for the event and use outside for the meal.We will have at least one grill and there is capability to use power for a crock pot inside to keep anything warm.Drive safe and See you all there!The Frank Family
