As usual we will be setting out regular controls on Friday May 1st for the Saturday scout event along with some advanced controls not used at the Saturday event.  If you can help please send me an email at orienteer7 at aol.com

Where I can really use help is Saturday afternoon after the awards ceremony(around 4pm) as I need to transition the regular controls to epunch.  Again, if you can help Saturday afternoon that would be great.
Again, send me an email to orienteer7 at aol.com.

Let me know or let Mary know at Gov Dick as I will not make that event.

For Friday I have not defined a time but will let those interested in helping know by Wednesday evening 4/29.  Just send me an email by Tuesday.

Saturday will start at ~4pm or immediately after the awards ceremony... to do the transition and set water stops for the Sunday local event.  If you can only help one day or the other ...pick Saturday for sure if you have never seen the MASOC event.

We also need more workers to do results.  The Scout meet is still "old school" as in no epunch, so we need to sort about 300 pink cards, check punches, and calculate times.  Easy work, but it takes eyes and fingers to do it.

Yesterday we had another successful MASOC event.  I don't have exact numbers yet, but there were over 500 participants; and counting workers and non participating leaders, there were over 600 people on site.  We had enough helpers to keep everything running smoothly.  Thanks to all that attended and the club members that came out to continue the tradition.  Looking for volunteers for MASOC 28 May 7, 2016.  Smile
