Yes it is time to clear your calender for the first Saturday in May.

I’ve put the volunteer needs for MASOC on the web site.  I know West Point returned to the same weekend, but if you aren’t going up there we can use experienced helpers at start, finish, and of course the pink card sorting and checking area for results.

We have course setting and control hanging covered, but will also need a crew to put out the epunch boxes for Sunday after the Scouts are out of the woods.

Remember volunteers can run their Sunday course on Saturday and it will get folded into Sunday’s results.  Just make sure your “pink card” is put into the cache box after you finish so it will be found on Sunday AM.

I’d also like someone that is more computer savvy than I am to print the labels for the pink cards. (new computer so my old 3x5 note card is no longer a reliable set of directions)  I’ll have the data in an excel spreadsheet, have the blank labels, and can show the general layout we need. They would need to be printed and ready for putting on the cards by April 28 or 29th.  I’d send the file out around April 26.

Please Email me, sign up on the volunteer list on the Schedule page, or respond here.  We are at 293 right now and the campsites are nearly full.  I expect another 200-300 day of event entries to come in over the next two weeks.

Campsites are now full and 385 are registered to compete. This week will probably bring over 100 more.  We need about 20 people to run the event and currently have 10.

Unfortunately I'll be going to West Point this year. Really prefer when they don't overlap :-(

We are now at 582 participants and today's mail should deliver the last of the "on time/no late fee" entries.  My needs now are at least 3 more people to work at the results table.  No experience is needed here. It is just sorting cards and matching punch patterns.  Jon Prine will be in charge and knows all the details.  Just come and spend a nice spring day sitting at a picnic table in the woods.  What could be easier?
