Mt Penn Help

Topic created by edscott on Sat Oct 16, 2010 at 7:50 pmWe'll need a couple more people to gather controls after the event and could use one more for registration. It should be a good day to work as many people are at the A event in New York so there won't be a huge crowd to handle. The courses were designed use a small number of controls (29 total) so pickup can be done quickly with three or four people. Beautiful out there today and the forecast for tomorrow is good.

We got our helpers!!!! Start/finish was handled by Ron Bortz, Kathy Urban and Ali Bortz did the computer work, Bob Gross with help from Dave Urban and Judy Scott handled registration for most of the morning and was relieved by someone else ?? for the final hour or so. Control pick up was done by Bob Gross, Dave Urban, Trine-Liv Weyman, and Eric Weyman. The great fall weather brought out more runners than I expected so there were several maps to draw near the end of the day. Plans are underway to have the next Mt Penn event on the Antietam map.
