Mass Start for all courses will begin at 10:30AM. Registration for mass start will end at 10:15 so please arrive promptly to ensure you are registered in time to enjoy the fun.
The mass start is not mandatory but those wishing to start individually can do so anytime before 1:00. Control pick up will begin at 3:00PM.
White through Red has a standard course time limit of 3 hours. While blue being an ultra long course has a course time limit of 4 hours.
Green, Red, and Blue have 2 mandatory crossing points along PA 345. There will water at the second mandatory crossing. These crossings are unmanned but will have streamers indicating where to cross. Please use caution when going through the mandatory crossing sections.
White – Great for beginners and takes advantage of the day use area.
Yellow – Fun advanced beginner course that goes around the lake and has some interesting route choices.
Orange – A little bit longer than usual but takes advantage of open trails and fun route choice options.
Brown – Uses the complex trail network around the lake along with advanced control location to provide an adequate challenge for all advanced orienteers
Green – It will be longer than most green courses and takes you to the more challenging section in the French Creek East area. It provides a great physical for those who are looking to get out in the woods and stretch their legs
Red – Uses much of the same course as the blue course until it splits off and follows its own path and challenges.
