While Sunday may feature diminishing rain into the morning, even better the temperatures appear to be heading into the 60's! So a great day to enjoy a late Indian Summer day. Just bring waterproof O-clothes as well as a change of clothes. We'll provide great courses in a wide variety of terrain....without any pesky climb or rock features.
Orange, Brown, and especially Green and Red will all navigate terrain just newly mapped. And we'll have plenty of enthuiastic scouts and cadets running through the woods with you.
We're gathering at our normal parking lot along Ave E, with Start and Finish very close to our Staging Area, with port-o-potty conveniently near parking.
The Rutgers Preserve features deep stream valleys, while also providing subtle rolling white woods (as well as a wide variety of vegetation, trail systems, and scattered fields), and of course in some areas a maze of over 800 large rootstocks left from Sandy's 2012 pass through the park. Careful map reading, route choice, and navigation will be richly rewarded....while beginner courses will visit a very safe and intersting variety of terrain.
Come join the fun in the northeast reaches of DVOAland located conveniently near the NJ Turnpike just across the Raritan from the New Brunswick Rutgers campus. Below are the courses we'll be offering...

- Day-of-registration is available, at $10 for beginners, and $20 for other courses.
All starts are from 10:00am until 1:00pm unless otherwise noted. Follow the text directions and look for Orienteering road signs as you near the park.
