Event Director:
Course Setter: Erik Eddy and see choices to Volunteer to help at this event 🙏
Notes: Mass start at Noon.
ED/CS Notes:
Come out for some winter fun in the orienteering off-season! The purpose of this event is to have some map fun in February where we typically do not get out.
Schedule:
Registration 11AM-11:45AM.
Pre-race briefing at 11:45
Mass start at Noon.
Course Closes at 2 PM.
General format:
The event will be a 2 hour time limit with a few physical and mental challenges to complete before (or after) getting on the main orienteering course. Might be a fun event to compete as a team. The bulk of the course will be score (choose as may points as you like in any order) orienteering with 20 controls, though a little more old school with pin punch. The course setter says the course is open to any skill level as you can choose how many points you would like to find.
Please come early as the 11:45AM briefing will be very important.
Encouraged to grab some pizza with the course setter after cleanup is finished.
