UPDATE:
As of October 31st, the Paypal issue has been fixed (per the EventReg administrator).

From 2020-2024, DVOA has used Orienteering USA’s EventReg system for online registration.
After a one day outage in early October, EventReg has been mostly restored, with one remaining issue — payment confirmation is broken.
Don’t worry, you can still register – and pay – it’s just the on-website confirmation that isn’t working. Go through the process to register as usual. You may then have one of two experiences:
- Sign the waiver and continue to the Paypal button – and pay – understanding that after you press “pay”, you may end up stuck with a spinning circle that says “Processing”. Even though it doesn’t appear so, your payment has gone through. Check your email to find your confirmation emails from Paypal as well as from EventReg.
— OR — - Sign the waiver, and encounter the spinning circle that says “Processing.” Seemingly, nothing is happening; however, your registration has gone through, but you will have to check your confirmation email from EventReg to find a link for Paypal. It may be some minutes later that the confirmation goes through.
After a successful registration you will have received two emails: one from PayPal (EventReg’s payment processor), and the other from EventReg. Feel free to email the Event Director to ask. (Don’t worry about the red $ on the EventReg “who’s registered” page – that’s broken too.)
