The FDR map has undergone thorough revision in preparation for the WRE TrailO Championships in the Navy Yard the weekend prior with its final course scheduled for FDR Sunday afternoon. So on the 26th come enjoy the map's DVOA debut and navigate the unique circumstances of this busy summertime urban park.
Because the very popular and iconic Asian Market recently relocated to the southern shore of Edgewood Lake (right where our reserved picnic site was), we will be setting up just south of there next to the ballfields. And after everyone finishes their courses, we invite you to join us for a season-ending picnic. Sampe the variety that Asian Market vendors vender offer or bring food of your own.
All courses are designed to avoid the heaviest pedestrian and auto traffic, but there will be plenty of gatherings throughout the park to invite creative route choices. And since the park does not lack for control features, there will be plenty of open space for runners to stretch out their legs. And as a special treat in such a developed park both short courses will visit a small section of woods with intricate trail choices.
