Notes: Join us for the second winter series of Mailbox Madness, an urban sprint orienteering training series in Philadelphia. The South Philly edition will begin in the late afternoon, with a finish at the Miracle on 13th Street for some holiday lights appreciation (followed by a Mappy Hour).
Events follow a Score-O format, with mailboxes instead of control flags. Tag as many mailboxes as you can in 60 minutes—pace and route choice are up to you. Scoring is unofficial, on the honor system. Note that urban running involves risk. Please cross streets safely and carefully (especially important for a late afternoon run—bring reflective gear or lights if you wish). There will be a mass start; arrive fifteen minutes early to collect your map and plan your route. More Info on Mailbox Madness

- Pre-registration is recommended, discounted, and open until Thursday night, before the event.
- Day-of-registration is available, at $10 for beginners, and $20 for other courses.
All starts are from 10:00am until 1:00pm unless otherwise noted. Follow the text directions and look for Orienteering road signs as you near the park.
