Local event change in fees for clubmembers

Topic created by Orienteeringmom on Fri Jun 22, 2012 at 5:32 pmI learned something last weekend at the Mt. Penn event that I was not aware of and saw nothing about it on this site. I was volunteering at registration last sunday and it was pretty steady with activity when one of our club members informed me that club member no longer have to pay to rent an epunch at local events. Not only did I feel stupid that I didn't know but I felt bad that I had been charging the $1 to club member for about 45 mins. - hour. Yes a $1 isn't a big deal to most of us but it is the fact that I had no idea of the change. I check this site daily if I'm at home to make sure that I have not missed any important information. I developed this habit because of my envolvement with the DVOA juniors and the National juniors. I haven't done much with the DVOA juniors lately but I'm still very involved with the National juniors and have keep this habit.
Why was this change not announced on this site after the board meeting where it was decided? Vadim???? -
